Bravo Yet Again
What a fabulous new addition to the Faceted Press inventory, and a third offering in this series. Katie Mullaly and Toby Allen continue to team up to create what these writers feel is their most inspired offering yet. Land of I Am shouts to the world about the toughest concept for any of us; Who am I? Handling this complex challenge is the eloquent prose and rhymes of writer Mullaly, constantly balancing the best word selection with generous space apportionment, not an achievement for the faint of heart.
Anyone who thinks it is an easy matter to produce such a memorable series of books such as these two collaborators have done must be from another planet. Clearly, both the original and robust illustrations from Toby Allen, married with the strong and musical verse of Mullaly, result in an end product both pleasing to the eye and compelling to adult and child alike.
Our youngest grandchildren literally fought for positioning and held their breaths until our reading session began on the newest series treat, a sure fire sign the effort invested by this dynamic creative team is more than worth it for the level of pleasure given to the children. Bravo and encore, encore!

An absolute must-read for kids growing up on social media.
I constantly think about kids who are growing up with the combined evils of social media perfection AND COVID quarantine where they lack true interaction with other kids and rely almost entirely on social media. And with that comes the scary reality of kids validating their looks, feelings, self-worth through how others like/comment/share their posts. It scares me to be honest. This book does such a fantastic job of distinguishing expressions from perceptions from reality and how to navigate past all of these false mirrors to find the real you. It does it in a very fun and trustworthy way where one can feel like they’re on an adventure, all while learning at the same time. You can tell the author put great care and time into how to best write this story, on what can be a very sensitive topic, so that kids can take some great learnings away from the book and feel a renewed sense of confidence and love for themselves at the same time. A great book for anyone needing a renewed sense of self, confidence, and esteem.

Great therapeutic tool.
This is my new favorite book. I’m a therapist and have used it with some of my clients and whenever I finish reading it with them they say, “I really like that book!” It is a great tool to use when identifying negative beliefs and a great way to conceptualize what happens when our thoughts get distorted.
This book transcends age.
The Land of I AM, like all of the other books in Katie Mulullay’s series, is brilliant.I am a high school English teacher and shared it with my sophomores while doing a unit on happiness, they found over one dozen messages of self love and self acceptance within it. People of every age can take away something profound from this lovely story. Every child has that favorite book that they ask to be read to them every night. Children will be enchanted by the gorgeous illustrations and the sing-song rhyming while the messages seep into their subconscious mind. No doubt mom and dad need to hear these messages too, and will be reminded of the empowering suggestions on every page, not only as they read to their child, but in day to day life as well. I highly, highly recommend every book in this series; I think they are genius.

The land of I AM is a great book for everyone even though it is targeted towards younger children. There are many ideas within the book that are extremely useful for everyone including adults. If you’re looking to learn in a fun way look no further than the Land of I AM!

Powerful message, beautiful illustrations – must have book!
The “Land of…” series of books is nothing short of spectacular. Created for children and adults alike, the reminder to be conscious of the labels we (and others) give ourselves is a beautiful sentiment anyone, at any age, can connect with. The beautiful Illustrations complement the narrative perfectly. I have purchased these books for a number of people and receive wonderful feedback every time!

I live in Italy and right now I am still waiting for the actual book to get here, but I enjoyed the PDF version and it’s beautiful! And the quality of the printing and paper is amazing!

A fun and enlightening experience that leaves lasting effects.
I just love these Land books! Self-discovery can be a painful journey when we get botched up in dead ends, and other men’s canyons. Mullaly and Allen have mapped out safe passage through the maze of identity. Escaping the bogs of Judgement Junction, Conformity Corner, and the like and onto the real you I’m sure you will like. We are presented with many mirrors along the way, but we’re not required to look into each one. The Land Of series provides a fun and enlightening experience that leaves lasting effects.Truly worth the time and money.
