If you are looking for new ways to help increase your staff’s well-being, let the Land of… Children’s Books Corporate Wellness Program bring our resources, lessons, and workshops to your group.

Although these are “children’s books,” they have been created for readers of all ages. With messages that apply to everyone, and life lessons that we can all incorporate, these beautiful books provide a new, fun way to bring mindfulness and conscious living resources to adults and children alike.

In addition to the reading of the books (which we can do on a large screen), the workshops include time for the discussion of the book and its meaning and how to apply it to everyday life. We also provide the files for printable worksheets for your staff to use to remember and apply each lesson, and share with their families. We also have downloadable posters for your offices that will help remind everyone of the journey.

Even though our books are categorized for ages 5 and up, the topics they cover are important to all ages, especially adults. Everyone can certainly gain something from these important stories, and life-changing tools.

Books and Topics: With a full series to choose from, and different books for a variety of topics, we can offer a variety of programs and workshops on the following topics:

• How to be more present and in the moment – Land of NOW
• Ways to recognize and get past the negative labels we give ourselves – Land of I AM
• The importance of inclusion and embracing the differences around us – Land of AND
• The steps for picking the best options and making good decisions – Land of OR

Worksheets and Materials: We have created activity packets to utilize during the workshop to help your team remember and utilize the lessons learned from each book. We also have downloadable posters for your offices that will help remind everyone of the journey. The business/organization is responsible for all printing.

Discussion: In addition to questions from the staff, we can have discussions about the importance of each book, utilizing the activity packets. For Land of OR, we can have a discussion around the steps to making good choices and how that applies to their work. Land of AND offers a discussion around acceptance, uniqueness, and inclusion and its importance in life. When Land of I AM is the presentation, we will talk about how the two words “I AM” affect how we see ourselves and how we can all use the best labels. And for Land of NOW, how to be in moment, even while dealing with the stress of work and life, is the discussion.

Recording: If you would like to record the presentations, please do. We just ask that you share the recording and any other images with us to use for our marketing.

Before the Visit:

Publicity: If you would like to share the event with your local media, we can provide you with a press release and images. Katie is happy to do interviews with local media outlets. They can contact her directly at katie@facetedpress.com or 435-513-0444.

Book Orders: If you would like to order books to give to your staff and/or offices, we offer wholesale bulk pricing.

Book Sales: If you would like to have books available for purchase at the workshop, we will create a promotional flyer for you to print and distribute a few days ahead of the event. And, we will offer special discounts for those in attendance.

Materials: We will email you the activity packets and posters ahead of time. All printing and distribution of the materials will be taken care of by the business.

Equipment: We recommend projecting the books on to a screen so that your staff can relax and enjoy the book, and so that all of the beautiful detail of the illustrations can be seen. Katie will bring a computer (PC) with the presentations on it. For larger groups and auditoriums, please provide a microphone so that she may reach the entire audience.

2022 Corporate Program Pricing

Full Day – In Person: $1,575 (within 90 miles of Park City, Utah) – up to 8 book presentations/workshops (each approximately 45 minutes long) with a break in between, a book signing (if employees want to purchase books), plus all travel expenses for locations more than 20 miles from Park City, Utah. The organization/business will receive a signed copy of all four books. For
travel more than 90 miles, full-day price is $2,000 plus expenses.

Half-Day – In Person: $850 – up to 4 book presentations/workshops (plus travel expenses for locations more than 20 miles from Park City, Utah). This is only available to businesses within 90 miles of Park City, Utah. The organization/business will receive a signed copy of all four books.

Online-via Skype or other web-based method: $350 for the first presentation, then $125 for following presentations. Presentations must all be on the same day and back-to-back when possible. The organization/business will be mailed a signed copy of all four books.

Program/workshop fees must be paid before the day of the event. The business/organization will be invoiced at the time of booking, with a deposit of half the fee due at time of booking and other half due before the workshop. Web-based events must be paid in full before the workshop. All travel expenses must be paid before the event, a separate invoice will be sent out. If the author cancels the workshop, the business or organization will receive a full refund or option to reschedule. If the business or organization cancels, the only refund will be the second half of the payment, if already paid. The deposit and any non-refundable travel expenses will not be refunded. The option to reschedule will be available for a fee (determined by rebooking costs and travel).
